weekend!!!

This last Friday was Yushi' birthday, so I took him out for dinner.

All you know Yushi's the most carnivorous person on the whole planet, so naturally the choice was Yakiniku. Some people call it Korean BBQ.

Saturday and Sunday was our weekend away, so we went to Hakone. We went to the Aquarium, and the Odawara Castle. We were also planning on going to some museums, but 2 days just wasn't enough for that.

These days, we are thinking of opening a webshop for ourhandbags. It's our new project and I am in charge. Yushi knows more about inernet and computers, so he helps me a lot. I will be sure to let you know once the shop opens, and those of you who are interested and who can actually buy them. PLEASE DO!!!!

PORTER SAVES THE DAY!!!

    COLTS VS. SAINTS

I guess i have this thing for rooting for the underdogs, but MAN this was a GREAT game!!

My mom and I were on the same team the SAINTS. this is pretty unusual, but it was fun<3

My dad on the other hand was going for the COLTS. wanna know why? cause he wanted to go opposite with the 2 girls! HA! speaks like a true man, doesn't he???

So ya, I've been refraining from getting on the internet for the last day or so, and it has just been PAINFUL!! I didn't want to find out the results of this magnificant BOWL of SUPERNESS!! I usually stay at work til about 1930, but today i rushed home a little before 1800.

I mean, the game was starting at 1810! mom stopped me from turning on the TV until it was absolutely necessary, because she didn't want to over hear ANY comments from ANYBODY on TV. Ya, that excited that Raylene gal was......I'm telling ya.

This is what we had for dinner tonight... JK

we had chips and salsa, casadillas, we made chilli with the stuff Nate's mom gave us. (Thanks Pam!!) and some salad. See, we know how to kinda healthy it up!! after that, we had tonz of chips.....but that's a whole nother story.

These are shots we took inbetween the 'News breaks'. Get this, we only got from 1810-2100 for the program, but at 1900, and 2000 we got news breaks for 10 minutes each! I mean, come on! we don't get to see the half time show, not even the whole game, but we need to sit there and bite our nails and wait for the game to start again......

well, anywho...during the 2nd quorter, my dad notices that there's a dude named 'Fujita' on the SAINTS team...that's a japanese name, and so he flipped sides on us. We were like ''You can't do that!!'' but he just told us he just did. our whole family kinda goes back to puberty when we're watching games....hehehe

So Keita comes home (my little tall kid bro.) from work right as the game ends....He was soooo sad he missed the game, but o well, what can we do. what is done is done, and all we could do was to tell him who won, and how great of a game it was. Ya, he didn't like how excited we were....

so after that game my mom and I HAD to watch BONES and NUMBERS, so the 2 girls pretty much hogged the TV the whole night, and this girl is now enjoying her internet life that is back with her;)

I hope you're having a fabulous week!

SNOW!!

Okay, you all know I love snow. You all look at me funny when I try to go out and take a walk when it's snowing....remember?

Well, today was SOOOOO not the case!!!

It started out raining at around noon. then slowly turning into slush. I wore this thin dress to work. I don't listen to weather forecasts! they're always wrong!!

Not knowing the potential of the cold rain and such, in this thin dress I bought a few months ago, I was FREEZING by BEEEEhind off.

So I come home from work, finish dinner, and start watching Bones (my weekly pleasure;) I get the TV on Mondays and Thursdays) at 2100 on FOX cable. 7 minutes into the show, the antana gives in. I was like ........ahhhhhhhuivaohjgneirojv

My mom's sitting there laughing her head off seeing me pissed off. I flip the channels from starchannel, discoverychannel, historychannel, dramachannel...10minutes later, it flippes back on. Bones went well after that.

2200. Numbers start. It was good. til 47minutes into the show. we find the bad guy, and it was RIGHT in the middle of his confession! My dearly beloved antana bails on me AGAIN!!! we never got back to the show. well, at least I got the story line. somewhat.

Now, huge snow balls are falling from the skies. It should get like a couple inches deep by morning. I do miss those days where schools get closed everytime because the trains stop from snow.
Man, I'm re-evaluating whether if i should keep on loving snow or not.

the warehouse, and the mountains!

This last week of January has been pretty busy.

The big event of this week was to move the warehouse. right now we have

1.a warehouse for tile in Gifu Prefecture
2.a warehouse for ladies bags in Tochigi Prefecture
3.some storage space for Mens bag in our office in Tokyo.

The first part of this week, I was in the tokyo back room trying to sort out the mens bags.

On thursday, a guy, my mom and I met up at the office at 0700, and headed out to Tochigi Prefecture. We were to combine the first 2 warehouse, and put the tile and bags in one big place. So I spent 2 days cleaning out our old bag warehouse in Tochigi.

Saturday, everyone came out for the big move. we moved about 180 cardboard boxes with a truck and a van. it took 3 trips to move the whole warehouse. It was the 10 of us, the whole office there, and we got a lot done. I am looking forward to what we can put in that HUGE space!!
this is the truck we borrowed from our dear friend;)
the guys went home after the move, but my dad, my mom and I stayed since out Bato house was like a 30minute drive from there. stayed there for a night, and came home today, which is a sunday.

I got a few shots of the house, and the winter mountains. not exactly my favorite season to be taking pictures, but o well;)

enjoy!

Spring Summer 2010

So it started. January exhibition of bags for spring summer 2010.

We have made some changes since our November exhibition, and was hoping for lots of sales, but so far, today was not that big of a success.

I guess I will be doing a lot of going around shops one by one and try to get them interested about our products after this is over.

This January is a particularly busy month. It started out at Mike and Amy's house for the new years party. (My first new years party EVER if I may add ;) followed by Breakfast with Chris and his sisters, playing with Nate's little nieces, going to SLC and having dinner with dear Spencer and Ericson, coming back to Leah's to delicious crapes Andre made, playing games and making origami with Andre, Jerry and Nate....going to walmart and watching Bones for the rest of the night, and morning.

GETTING ON THE PLANE (The biggest downside of this year so far ;)

Started working the following day, going around shops with new years wishes......This was the 4th. I think I even went out with Kumiko and Yushi for dinner that night! Been preparing for this expo, but going to the Ghibli muesum inbetween. This was a double date with Kumiko and Kenta, Yushi (my BF that EVERYBODY knows).

Expo started today, and will keep going til Thursday. Leather Expo on Friday, and we move our wearhouse next week. FULL MONTH!!

I'll keep you updated, but for now, I think I need to sleep....zzzzZZZZZ

yuri is in Japan, well and alive.

it's been a little over a week since I got back from UT.

I know i started out posting everyday, but after a couple of days, exhaustion struck me. ask anyone. Jerry, Nate, Andre, Chris....all you guys that got to wake me up at around 2 in the morning. I would go home, hit the sack at around 0300-0400 in average, wake up at about 0800-0900, start my activities, and again hit the hay at about 0300. man, talk about a full life, a full week. That week consumed me like no other.

but you know what, i had FUN! wouldn't you say so guys?? Thank you soooo much for hanging out and taking me places, feeding me, and entertaining me!! i had the funnest week ever! I got to hang out with people i never have before for the longest time. i mean it. thank you.

my shopping sprees went a little out of control (as some of you already know), so this month, I will be going home for lunch and dinner to save up.;)

Anywho, I left Utah in the morning of the 2nd, after keeping Nate, Jerry and Andre up all night, and touched down on Japanese soil in the evening of 3rd. went straight home, had a light dinner and crashed. literally. started working on the 4th, the following day. I went around my customers' shops giving them our new years greetings and all for the following 3 days. Thursday and Friday was a bargain sale at our big client's shop, so i stood there selling bags as a sales clerk. tiring, but fun at the same time;)

Saturday I went to my cousin's house so go see my relatives for new years. Gramma was doing pretty good, so that was good news! the family seemed shockingly tiny after coming back from a huge on in UT. there are only 3 families, and Keita and I are the youngest. (no dofference here) We only have 3 cousins on my dad's side. small huh? ;)

Sunday and Monday were relaxing for me. slept in til 1300. Yushi came and woke me up bringing lunch for me, and we pretty much stayed in the house til dinner. I cut his hair. it had been growing since September and it really needed a trim. might have made it a little shorter than usual, but he's a guy, and the beauty of hair is, IT ALWAYS GROWS BACK. hehehe!! We went to have Sushi (not the best if you ask me)for dinner, had a little starbucks and came home.
This is before and after. FUn huh??

Monday (which is today) was coming of age day, a national holiday, so we decided to see AVATAR. after everybody telling me how the movie was so long, I REALLY ENJOYED IT. i'll even give it a 95 out of 100. Had Indian food for dinner tonight, and was great!! one of our favorite restaurants.

NOw I'm stuffed as a turkey and ready to go to bed.

Have to work tomorrow!!! a week ahead of me and I better get ready for it!

UTAH 3rd day

last night, I finally got to bed at 0530. I guess you could call it this morning in this case.....

I got up at abou 8:30 when Matt came over to the house to lend me his snowpants. Leah and Jerry lent me a bunch of warm gear, so today when I went tubing, I didn't freeze to death.;) (I'm in good hands. no worries people.)

after we went tubing, we had hot chocolate at the Budge's. Dianne had her special mix thing going on, and it was FANTASTIC!!! I saw Mindy's little Lucy for the first time, and man was she adorable or was she adorable???? definately made me wanna have kids!!

Did I tell you Lucy was adorable?? i mean, mega cute! we had mexican food for lunch, and we split up. Chris and I went to the DMV to get my lisence, and the others we met again at Lena's house.

YA, I GOT MY TEMP LISENCE!!!!! YEEE HAAAA

We all gathered at Mindy's house in Toelle.Played games, and ate pizza. I got to see a whole bunch of people!! Justin, Jonathan, Amanda(Jonathan's wife-to-be;), Maryane, Britt, Lena, Mark, Mindy's cute husband Clint, Kati, Juan(Kati's husband), Emerson(dang cute baby of Kati and Juan's), just tonz of people!!

I really wated to take pictures, but i couldn't find the memory card for my stupid camera, so I didn't take any.....

After the party, Chris tried to teach me how to drive a stick car (his sister's). BAD DECISION!!! I killed it one too many times, and the battery gave up on me. So Chris' brother Ryan had to bring cables from his house, and had to jump start the car. I felt so bad.......

I'm sorry......

Now I am safe at home. I'd dozed off several times during the day,due to the severe lack of sleep and probably food, so I'll probably go to bed after i finish it. I'll go to bed early like a good girl.

first night, went tobed at 4:30.
second night, went to bed at 5:30.
today is 0200. earliest to go to bed on this trip so far.

seeing a pattern here??

UTAH 2nd day

Today was a Sunday, and I was in North Ogden, so I decided to go to church with the fam. now I'm not proud to say this, but it had been quite a while since i have, so it definately was a great feeling to be back. Leah gave the lesson in Sundayschool, and i just started to cry my eyeballs out right in the middle of it....that was prettyembarrasing;)

The family christmas party was scheduled from 5, so i hurried and wrapped the presents (with the help of the greatest Jerry!!). given the numbers of presents i handed out, that was about over 20 of em, and by the time we got to the end of wrappig them, we were already tired....

So many people came! and so many kids.....they weren't in diapers, they didn't have their binkies, they were talking in sentences.......and i tell ya, they WERE running! running their tiny little feet off like there is no tomorrow! they were too funny. Naturally, i had tonz of catching up to do, so i just kept on talking, talking, listening, talking listening, listening........Andre and Jerry literally had to remind me to eat something! that was pretty funny;)

Dang, I tried to put up pitures, but unfortunately the sizes were too big, and couldn't. I'll post them in a different occasion. ;)

after most people left, Leah, Mike, Amy, Tiffanie, Matt, Jerry, Andre, Greg and I started playing games. Skip-Bo was a game i haden't played for a long time, but it was GREAT!!

One thing led to another, conversation never dieing, the last party ended up leaving at 0130. how crazy is that?!?! he's a guy who usually goes to bet by 2100. amazing what my charm can do to people huh? (I'm joking just in case you didn't notice)
